''Henry Dunbar or A Daughter's Trial'' by Tom Taylor (1817-1880). A melodrama in four acts, performed with great success by [[Disney Roebuck]] in the [[Bijou Theatre]] in August and September 1875. [[Miss Berenger]] was praised by critics for her role as the good but unhappy daughter. The play is performed again on 18 April 1876 in the [[Athenaeum Hall]] (produced by C. Wilstone) and by [[Disney Roebuck]] in December 1877, April 1878 in the [[Theatre Royal]] after his return from England]]. It was staged again by [[Henry Harper]] during the 1880s, then lessee and manager of the [[Theatre Royal]].
