[[Media Works]] is an [[Adult Education and Training]] ([[ABET]]) provider that had its roots in the [[Community Arts Project]] and was founded by [[Jackie Carroll]] and [[Dennis Lamberti]]. It commenced trading in March 1996 with a total of two staff members. By 2010 the company employed over 80 full-time employees and over 425 contracted facilitators who service the private sector and government departments alike.

In 2002 Media Works joined forces with the Community Arts Project to found the Arts and Media Access Centre in Cape Town.
