Born in Natal and raised on a farm.

She studied acting at the Waterfront Theatre School in Cape Town.
Career
She started working in television, inter alia in the children's series Bundu Buddies.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
In 2012 she did stage work at the KKNK , appearing in Charles J. Fourie's play Die soet trane van Petrus Pansegrouw and then obtained the lead role of Julie in Yael Farber's Mies Julie.
Awards, etc
Fleur du Cap as well as Naledi Award nominations for best actress for Mies Julie.
