Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Toerien, Basil Rubin and Shirley Firth brought him to South Africa to direct Anthony Shaffer’s thriller Sleuth, starring Ralph Michael and Nicholas Amer, at the Intimate Theatre in 1970.
