Biography
Jennifer was born in Ermelo and went to school in Johannesburg.
She became an ANC member of parliament in 1994, but later resigned to join her husband in Sweden. She is married to the Swedish choral conductor and composer Anders Nyberg. She returns to South Africa regularly to perform.
Training
She studied journalism for a while at Rhodes University (1979), then on to the University of the Witwatersrand, before dropping out and doing a degree in Drama at the University of Cape Town. BA; Perf. Dipl UCT 1980-1982.
Career
Most of her performance work is in cabaret and musical concerts, starting with gigs at places like No 58, Hillbrow, though she has performed at the Market Theatre, notably in Women of Africa (19**).

She has appeared on stage in The Winter's Tale (as a student in 1981), Mitzi Blitz, Aladdin: Pantomime, (Cape Flavour) directed by Maralin Vanrenen, The Lion and the Lamb and Up 'n Atom.
