Die Masker is a venue used by the Drama Department of the University of Pretoria
Originally part of Christian Brothers' College (CBC), the buildings later named The Lier and Die Masker theatres, together with the other CBC buildings, were acquired by the University in 1968.
In 1969 the school hall was presented to the Department of Drama for their use. It was renamed Die Masker and converted into a theatre for an audience of 240 people and equipped with basic lighting and audio facilities.
