Biography

Kensington-born (Cape Town) Roodt was trained by The Independent Theatre Movement of SA.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Lee's most recent work includes playing the role of Othello under the direction Esther von Waltsleben, playing Lee Roy Brown in the Lee & Hein Show and Edgar in Fietna Lekke Jy.

Roodt plays Lee Roy Brown, the patriarch of the gambling "family" in Nommerpas. He is also the co-author of the play.

He appeared in Romeo and Juliet for Siyasanga Theatre Company (2010).
