The Room is a play by Harold Pinter (1930 – 2008)[1].

The original text

This was Harold Pinter's first play, written and first produced in 1957.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Afrikaans as Die Kamer, by an unnamed translator. A copy of the typed text found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department's theatre archives and now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
