Iago Clifford (18*?-19*?) was a romantic tenor and scenic designer.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He is said to have presented a show called The South African Follies in Durban circa 1906, but it failed.

After this, he was employed by Stephen Black and Arthur de Jongh to play “Hay-Whotte” in the first production of Black's Love and the Hyphen in 1908.
