has for almost 10 years now been the discussion facilitator of the programme Prontuit on KykNET, as well as presenter of numerous others such as Megaboere, among others. She is mostly concerned with social issues related to South Africa, but also the state and potential of the world in general. Kabous has led various panel discussions as part of congresses and Afrikaans art festivals, of which the topics ranged from identity, language and politics to the arts. She is also a film director and producer. Kabous has always believed that a university in South Africa, like elsewhere in the world, is an inseparable part of the country. For her the University of Stellenbosch is an excellent example of this. She is a proud member of the Drama Class of 1998, and Student Representative Council member for Culture in 1999.
