The Cygnet Theatre

In 1953 the Drama Group built their own theatre, through the efforts of Mr Donald Spencer, the group's chairman, and the members. Known as The Cygnet Theatre, it was opened on 20 October 1953 with a production of Man and Superman, produced by Mrs lan Fraser, wife of the Natal Society Council president from 1938-1946.
