Thando Mangcu is an actress, director and theatre-maker.



Biography

She studied at the University of Cape Town drama department, completing a BA Hons degree in Theatre and Performance.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

As a playwright she co-created, co-directed and performed in The Fall in 2016, a piece which went on to win the Encore Award at that year's Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards, then went on to tour internationally, receiving awards at the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival as well as being put on the New York Times critics choice list.
