Mark Scheepers is a writer, photographer, actor, designer and social entrepreneur.

He has a BA Honours (Journalism and Media Studies) from the University of the Witwatersrand and has worked for as a journalist and columnist at Caxton Community Newspapers, at one time as the managing editor of the Caxton Soweto Urban group of 11 newspapers. He has also been a regular book reviewer for Fairlady Magazine.

He then moved into scriptwriting, dividing his time between Johannesburg, Los Angeles, New York and London.
