A sexually explicit play about sex workers, told through the tale of a mother who left rural Mpumalanga in search of a better life in the City of Gold and finds the going tough.
Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
2009: Premiered at the Grahamstown Arts Festival in July, directed by the author. The show became a success, with performances in the North West Province, the Free State and and Gauteng, as well as runs at the Windybrow Theatre and the Market Theatre (opening there on November 4 for a two-week run).
2013 Revived at Mmabana Studio 1, playing 30 May to 1 June .
