Sally Presant (19*-). Opera singer.

Biography

Sally was born in England.

Training

She studied at the Royal College of Music in London and in Vienna and Paris.

Career

She moved to South Africa on a 12 month contract to sing at the Nico in 1983 and stayed on. She has worked for all the Arts Councils and has sung more than 40 different roles.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Roles/productions include:

CAPAB’s The Mikado

1986 - Der Rosenkavalier (as Octavian) for CAPAB Opera.

1997 - Sally had a part in The Shakespeare Revue
