Bitter Einde ("Bitter End") is a full length Afrikaans play by Tom Weber.

The original text
A drama about the last months of the Anglo-Boer War, telling about a family whose farmhouse had been burnt down.
Published in Johannesburg by Afrikaanse Pers-Boekhandel, 1950 and 1958 and in Pretoria by Nasionale Toneelorganisasie in 1950.

1955: Produced by JAATS, directed by Anna Neethling-Pohl with Helen Faul, Gert van den Bergh, Jan Bruyns, Pieter Hauptfleisch, Daan Retief, San de Lange, Ampie Muller.
1956-7: Performed by NTO for 104 performances. Directed by Anna Neethling-Pohl with Eghard van der Hoven, Pieter Geldenhuys (later replaced by Siegfried Mynhardt), Elsa Fouché, Tilana Hanekom, Jannie Gildenhuys, Gerrit Wessels, Cobus Rossouw, Derek Swanepoel, Piet Bezuidenhout, Jaco van der Westhuizen, Francois van Wyk. After the initial tour Jannie Gildenhuys took over as director.
