Born in Italy.
Career
Paganelli was engaged as a singing teacher at the South African College of Music.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Among the many operas Paganelli directed at the Opera House, Alhambra Theatre, and the Little Theatre were Shamus O’Brien, Don Pasquale, Hänsel und Gretel, La bohème, La traviata, The Marriage of Figaro, La sonnambula, not mentioning the operatic concerts presented by his pupils. William Pickerill conducted many of these productions.
He produced/directed and performed in Il barbiere di Siviglia for the South African College of Music at the Opera House in 1929.
He produced a production of Il matrimonio segreto in 1933, performed by students from the South African College of Music
