Talley's Folly is a one-act romantic comedy by Lanford Wilson (1937-)[1]
Contents
The original text
Written in 1979, the play uses the "odd couple" formula to discuss history and class in a one-act dialogue between Sally Talley and her husband-to-be, Matthew Friedman. It is part of the so-called Talley Trilogy, a series of Wilson plays revolving around the Talley family of Lebanon, Missouri. (The other plays are Talley & Son and Fifth of July.)

1982: Performed Upstairs at the Market, opening on 30 August 1982. Directed by Bobby Heaney with Anthony Fridjhon and Dorothy Ann Gould
1983: The production performed in the Baxter Theatre.
