Performance history in South Africa
1960: Staged in Afrikaans as Die Vreemde Besoeker by the newly formed Libertas Theatre Club (Libertas Teaterklub) in the Denneoord Saal, Stellenbosch, in September 1960. Directed by Gertie Smith-Visser, with Fred Stephens and Fred Roux, it was one of three one-act plays performed that evening for the inauguration of the club. (The other plays were Onderdrukte Begeertes and The Goldfish.)
