Toerien-Rubin-Firth refers to the brief joint collaboration between theatre producers Pieter Toerien, Basil Rubin and Shirley Firth (1969-1970).
Contents
The company
In 1969, Pieter Toerien and Basil Rubin went into partnership with Shirley Firth, to become the new management of the Intimate Theatre.
Productions
1969: Their first co-production was The Secretary Bird (directed by Kerry Jordan with Jeremy Hawk, Shelagh Holliday, Ivan Berold and Shirley Firth).
1970: In 1970 the company staged Anthony Shaffer’s thriller Sleuth, starring Ralph Michael and Nicholas Amer, and directed by Warren Jenkins. So What about Love?, directed by Patrick Tucker.
1971: Child's Play presented by PACT in association with Pieter Toerien, Basil Rubin and Shirley Firth.
