Die Professor en Ander Samesprake ("The professor and other dialogues") is a collection of pieces by F.W. Boonzaier (1901-1963).

The collection

The volume contains five dialogues, largely inspired by the work of Melt J. Brink. They are light pieces, that tend to focus on the comic elements of the situation, without deep character and thematic emphasis.

The dialogues are:

Die Professor ("The Professor")

Baas in sy eie Huis ("Boss of his own house")

Bêrend Brand, Speurder ("Bêrend Brand, detective")

'n Preek ("The sermon")

Die onsistematiese Maters ("The unsystematic mates")

The volume also contains two satirical poems, namely Sap en Nat and Die Dronkaard ("The drunkard").

The collection first published by H.A.U.M. in 1932.
