The original text
A play about a South African family tragedy. Though the title is German, the text is seemingly an original piece, written in English, with some Afrikaans dialogue.
Found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department archives in 2022, with no indication of author or purpose of the text. The title written on it by hand and the play is accompanied by an informal contemplation of the theme of the play by the anonymous author, this clearly incomplete (the first page is missing). (The text now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, Stellenbosch.)
