He was the contemporary of Herman Charles Bosman and editor of the bilingual periodical On Parade.
His articles include "Die Mens as Jood in ons Romankuns" in Books and Writers: A Miscellany of Articles Published by the South African Jewish Board of Deputies for the Jewish Book Festival, 1948
Contribution the South African theatre, film, media and performance
He write a three act comedy called Who'll Have Susan?, published in South Africa by DALRO in 1974.
