Die Web ("The web") is an Afrikaans one-act play by Dirk de Villiers.
Contents
The original text
The play was apparently written for performance by RATO (Roodepoort Amateur Teaterorganisasie) and - as with most of their plays - was jointly written by Dirk de Villiers (who provided the theme and intrigue) and Anton Prinsloo (who wrote the text and 's plays in the 1960s.
The performance text, published by DALRO in 1969, credits De Villiers alone as author.
