Charles William Smart (? - 25 June, 1921) was a musician who lived in Port Elizabeth.

Biography
He was born in England before moving to Port Elizabeth in ?. He was a photographer and hotelier who bought the George Hotel in June 1899. In 1900 he bought the Cadles Hotel near Thornhill. He bought the Central Hotel in Port Elizabeth in 1912.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
1892: The Mikado, presented by the Port Elizabeth Amateur Operatic Company. Charles William Smart conducted the orchestra.
