Brook Williams (1938–2005)[1] was a British stage, film and TV actor.

Biography
Born in London, the son of actor and playwright Emlyn Williams, he attended Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, then did his national service in the RAF before he began to act in repertory theatre, in London's West End and abroad on tour. He also made numerous appearances in films and on TV.
He was a close friend, assistant and advisor to actor Richard Burton who had known him since he was a child and he appeared in several films in which Burton starred.
Williams died of lung cancer in 2005.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He visited South Africa on a few occasions, e.g. in 1959 he guest-starred in Peter Shaffer’s Five Finger Exercise at the Brooke Theatre and in 1962 he co-starred with Dame Flora Robson in , The Corn is Green at the same venue.
