Tossie van Tonder (19**-) is a performer, dancer, choreographer, and author.
Also known as Nobonke, or Nobonke van Tonder

Contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance
Since 1980 she mainly performed as a solo artist.
Among her choreographic works are: Thabangita, Timeless Tango, Skotgorsari, Fantoom, Come and See, The Moon is Dancing, Intiem, Etc., The End, Intarsia (based on Die kremetartekspedisie by Wilma Stockenström)
She wrote and published an autobiographical work, Nobonke. She of All People, dealing with motherhood in 2012.
