Biography
Born in Cape Town, where he grew up with his grandparents. He matriculated from St George's Grammar School in 1991.
Twice married. He married actress Diaan Lawrenson in St Martin's-in-the-Veld Anglican Church in Rosebank, Johannesburg in March 2014. They have two children, Olivia-Rose and James.
Training
He had no formal training, but was exposed to theatre as a child, and had his first role at the age of seven, with a line in a production of The Ha’Penny Opera.
