Biography
The actress was a mom of three and a grandmother of six, and lived in Johannesburg with two of her grandchildren.
She passed away in December, 2021.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She was perhaps best known for playing "Maria Zibula" on the popular Afrikaans soap 7de Laan for 13 years, retiring in 2016.
Other film and TV roles over the years have included "Ma Jordan" in the first season of Yizo Yizo, and roles in Cry, the Beloved County and Beat the Drum.
