Tasneem Daniels (19**-) is a Cape Town based playwright and screenwriter.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She writes in "Maleis-Afrikaaps" and is the founder (in 2014) of Cultsha Kennis, an online blog designed for the sharing news on theatre and the arts as a cultural experience in Cape Town. She is also a contributing writer for the online journal LitNet.

Her first play, Miela’s Box was performed in 2020 (inter alia at the Suidoosterfees and Artscape, and was adapted and broadcast as a radio drama. In 2020/2021 she worked in television as part of the scriptwriting team for Suidooster (kykNET) and a a researcher for the programme An Nur - The Light (SABC 3).
