She worked for the Strand Theatre and [[Charles Arnold's English Comedy Company]], going on international tours with Arnold between 1900 and 1902, ''inter alia'' visiting Australia and South Africa, appearing in plays such as ''[[An Empty Stocking]]'' (), ''[[What Happened to Jones]]'' (Broadhurst), ''[[The Professor's Love Story]]'' (), ''[[Hans the Boatman]]'' (Greene), ''[[Why Smith Left Home]]'' () and ''[[The Grey Parrot]]'' ().
