Thomas Adlard (1834-1881) was a photographer and businessman

Biography

Born Thomas Brown Adlard in England, he had shop (T. Adlard's Photographic Rooms) at 16 Wale Street, Cape Town between 1859 and 1862.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

The offices also served as a ticket office for theatrical and other events from time to time. He presumably also served the various companies with photographic and other services.
