Klaas and the Devil is a one-act play by Athol Fugard (1932-).

The original text

An early one-act play, written in Cape Town circa 1955-57 for performance by by the Circle Players in that period.

The text was later destroyed by the author.

1955/1956(?): Performed by the Circle Players as a double bill with The Cell (Fugard) in the Labia Theatre, Cape Town, probably directed by Sheila Meiring and featuring Fugard as an actor.
