Audrey Turner (1923 - 2006). Dancer, choreographer and designer.
Not to be confused with Audrey Turner (born 1927), poet, based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Audrey died in Somerset West at the age of 83 in August 2006.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Choreographed the Pieter Toerien production of Those were the days (mid-1960s), Fiddler on the Roof (Sand du Plessis Theatre and CAPAB, 1985), South Pacific , Gigi, Show Boat and NAPACs production of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood (1984-5).
