Space Mutiny (also known as Mutiny in Space) is South African film directed by David Winters and Neal Sundstrom.
The film
Made and first released in 1988 this South African space opera action film tells of a mutiny aboard the generation ship known as the Southern Sun.
Produced by David Winters, written by Maria Danté and Ian Yule (uncredited) and directed by David Winters and Neal Sundstrom. The film starred Reb Brown, Cisse Cameron and Cameron Mitchell, with a cast that included South African performers James Ryan, Graham Clark, Billy Second and Rufus Swart.
Edited by Bill Asher, Charlotte Konrad and Catherine Meyburon, and distributed by Action International Pictures in 1988 (United States) and on 20 January 1990 (in Japan).
