Louis Hayward (1909-1985) was a South African born stage, film and TV star.

Born Louis Charles Hayward in Johannesburg on 19 March 1909 and grew up there. Was educated in France and England, including Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, London, before going on to become a well-known British and American actor. He passed away on 21 February 1985.

Hayward never worked or performed in South Africa.
