Piet-my-vrou is the title of a television drama by Chris Barnard (1939-2015).

The title refers to the Afrikaans name for the red-chested cuckoo, and literally means "Piet-my-wife".

The text

The TV drama has not been filmed to date, but the text was published in the volume Piet-my-vrou en Nagspel (Tafelberg, 1982).
