Jan Alleman van Suiderland ("Everyman/Common man of the Southern Country") is was listed in ESAT as an Afrikaans revue by W.A. de Klerk (1917-1996).

The original text

The original entry was written in 2012 by an unnamed student contributor to ESAT, who unfortunately did not provide the source for the entry. So far no further information has been found on it.

Given the fact that De Klerk was very much a conventional author and playwright, it is far more likely that this was no revue, but something more like a "review" of a differently titled work by De Klerk, or even a journal article on the author. (TH)
