The Girl in the Train is a play by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel.


Not to be confused with the 1910 musical play The Girl in the Train by George Edwardes and Adrian Ross.

The original text

Based on the popular 2015 novel of the same name[1] by Paula Hawkins (1972-)[2]

It premiered at West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds in 2018, and after a UK tour in 2019, it went to the Duke of York's Theatre, London from 23rd July to 17th August. Not received well by critics.
