Amore Slabbert (197*-).

Biography

She did her undergraduate studies at the University of the Free State in 1991, then completed an MA in Drama at the University of Stellenbosch in 1994 with a thesis entitled Modern theatre and the quest for God : a comparative study of the plays of Eugene O'Neill and Bartho Smit.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

As a student at the University of the Free State, she acted in a production of Die Waterwyser in 1991.

In 1992, while studying for her MA in Drama in Stellenbosch, she wrote a children's play called 'n Kinderstorie ("A children's story").
