Contemporary Plays by African Women is an anthology of plays by women from various parts of Africa, edited by Yvette Hutchison and Amy Jephta.

An Introduction by the editors, as well as an introduction to each individual play and its production(s), by the author in each case, including critical notes and a bibliography on each work. The plays are: Niqabi Ninja by Sara Shaarawi (Egypt); Not That Woman by 'Tosin Jobi-Tume (Nigeria); I Want to Fly by Thembelihle Moyo (Zimbabwe); Silent Voices by Adong Judith (Uganda); Unsettled by J.C.
