Willie Beckmann (19*-) Actor and playwright.

Played "Danie" in Oom Paul for the Hanekom Geselskap in 1935. Married his co-performer Elsa Fouche in the same year and they formed the Elsa Fouché Geselskap to tour with In die Mag van Tiberius ("Under the sway of Tiberius" - an adaptation by Beckmann of a novel by Augusta J. Evans-Wilson ), In die Kloue van Satan, and other plays.
