The Cirque Olympique de Paris was the name given to a company under the direction of a Monsieur Olivier, that visited South Africa in 1862-3. It was also known simply as Olivier's Circus. ,
There are scant records, but such a circus visited Port Elizabeth from June to August of 1862, performing in Sefton Parry's theatre there, followed by a run in Grahamstown and then, in 1863, Cape Town (from the beginning of February to mid-April). Among their performances were a number of pantomimes as well.
