Biography

Studied at the University of the Orange Free State, completing a Masters degree.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He studied the archiving of Afrikaans language films in South Africa, completing a Master's thesis on the nature of the films made by the Afrikaans language organizations Raro and Carfo in 1988. It is entitled Lokale realisme in speelprente van Raro en Carfo: 'n inhoudsontleding ("Local realism in the feature films of Raro and Carfo"). Unpublished MA thesis, University of the Orange Free State[1]
