A member of the Heunis-Rood Geselskap in 1935-6 for a tour of Baron Peros, Eerloos ("Without Honour"), Die Dolk ("The Dagger") and Judas Kus ("Judas Kiss"). He played in Die Kwaksalwer (Lit. "The Quack" - 1939) for the André Huguenet company. In 1942-43 joined Pierre de Wet to tour with Pinkie (1942-43).
