The Government School Building in Wynberg, mentioned as a venue for theatrical performances in the 19th century, probably refers to the buildings of what is known today as Wynberg Boy's High School (originally founded in 1822)[1].
In 1869 for example, the Amateur Coloured Troupe performed at least once in this venue.
