Michael Pertwee (1916-1991) was a British playwright and screenwriter [1].

Biography

Born Michael Henry Pertwee Kensington, London, on 24 April 1916, – )[2] was an English playwright and screenwriter.

For the stage he co-wrote the 1938 thriller Death on the Table as well as She's Done it Again, Sextet, .

He also translated and directed the French play La Maison de Zaza as Birds of Paradise .

Among his film and TV credits were episodes of The Saint, Danger Man, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, B-And-B, Ladies Who Do, Hong Kong and many other films and TV series.

He passed away in Camden, London, on 17 April 1991.
