A play written and performed in Wallack's Theatre, New York, in 1870. It contains the character "Fritz van Vonderblinkenstoffen", based on and performed by Joseph Kline Emmett, who had developed the "Fritz" character in minstrel variety shows, and the character would become the source of a range of "Fritz" plays. Possibly also a Captain Fritz (said to be bay Henry Hamilton).
