Training

He studied under Gibson Kente.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Performed in Sikalo by Gibson Kente and in Zwi. Played “Zuluboy” in Lifa and other characters in Too Late!. Also appeared in Kente's Give a Child.

He wrote and produced the play Do or Die which was performed in several of South African townships.

He also had minor roles in international films like the 1974 movie Gold, starring Roger Moore and Susanna York and Shout At The Devil. He also appeared in local productions, including the Afrikaans film Pens en Pootjies, the popular Ngwanaka and the pioneering U Deliwe, the first film on township life, now regarded as a classic. He had a recurring role in the TV series Sgudi S’nayisi.
