The original text
First performed at the Theatre Royal, Sheffield, on 2 April, 1875 and published by Samuel French, [ca. 1875?] as issue 725 of French's Acting Editions.
Apparently performed in South Africa and Australia as Withered Leaves, or The Fairy of the Glen by touring companies.

F.C.L. Bosman (1980) gives the title as Withered Leaves, or The Fairy of the Glen in his index, but cites it by its shorter, original title in the text. It was apparently performed under this longer title in Australia during 1880.
1877: Performed as Withered Leaves by Disney Roebuck and his company in the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town, on 3 August, with Brown and the Brahmins (Reece).
